Will Windows 7 include Microsoft Office programs?
Currently have Vista and want to upgrade to Windows 7. I need Microsoft Word and Excel. I have tried to Open Office and Microsoft Works. Neither works well for me.

No.
Microsoft Office is a separate product, but you can get a 'trial' version as well (I think 60 days).
If you have problems with Open Office, have you thought that it might not do well at all? For example:
To take OO to MS Word compatible files, you must save in a format of 'Word'.
That can be done in the Save As dialog box. I've done so many times, no problem.
PS: You may need to be sure "that" the version of 'Word' who like to save as. There are many options.
I've always saved in an earlier version for people with older versions of MS Office to open the file (s).
The operating system never * * includes programs such as Office.
Sometimes a retailer can assemble themselves, or an OEM install on a test computer for themselves.
But no, if you go buy Windows 7, which includes a new version of WordPad and nothing else.
No, but some menufacturers include demonstrations.
However, you can use earlier versions of all the wqay office 2000 i FYO similar. if you do not have / them, try http://www. thesoftonline. com for both OEM versions of '07 (which sucks) and '03 for less than retail. but keep in mind that means no Microsoft OEM Supprt. OEM bought several of them, they're downloads will be able to burn.
No operating system has come with Office. Can be offered as a free trial, but that is a close as you can get. You still have to buy it!
Yes, they have a trial version, but after 2 months you have to buy an activation code
